Banterflix’s Foyle Film Festival Planner

The 26th Foyle Film Festival kicks off tomorrow evening with its gala screening of Big Bad Wolves, so here at BanterFlix we’ve had a look through this year’s excellent programme and picked out a few films and events to look out for.

We’ve only picked out a handful of the this year’s screenings, have a glance at the official website to check out the full list of what’s going. The festival runs throughout Derry from 20-24 November ,across  a variety of venues throughout the city.

Wednesday 20th November

  • 8pm- Opening Night Gala Premiere-Brunswick Moviebowl: Big Bad Wolves (£6)

Thursday 21st November

  • 7pm-Brunswick MovieBowl: Trashed (Introduced by Jeremy Irons) (£6)

Friday 22nd November

  • 8:00pm- The Venue: Psycho live! Featuring the Ulster Orchestra (£16.50)
  • 10pm-Sandinos: Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait (DJ set by Stuart Brathwaite from Mogwai) (Free)

Saturday 23rd November

  • 2pm-Brunswick MovieBowl: Day of the Flowers (Irish Premiere) (£4.50)
  • 7.30pm-St Columb’s Hall: An Evening with Danny Boyle and Frank Cottrell Boyce (£8)
