Local Event – Film Devour 15 (27/01/2015)

“The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder”

Alfred Hitchcock

Film Devour returns to the Black Box in Belfast’s Cathedral quarter on Tuesday 27th January for the 15th time. The short-film festival organized by local filmmaker Brian Mulholland has become a fantastic platform for aspiring filmmakers to showcase their burgeoning cinematic talent.

From raw first time shorts to more established films with slightly bigger budgets, there’ll be something for everyone on the night, from horror to comedy. The ethos of the event is to showcase everything to everyone on the night, with the live audience offering filmmakers instant feedback upon their work.

The night is also a great opportunity for aspiring actors, directors and screenwriters to meet up, exchange ideas and arrange future projects.

Doors open at 7pm, with £5 admission; the screenings start from 8pm, but we’d recommend getting down to the Black Box early to make sure you get yourself a seat.

Check out our Film Devour special from last year.
