The Banterflix CineCast, 12 December 2014

ON this week’s slightly Hobbit obsessed show BanterFlix’s Jim McClean was joined by local film critics Conor Smyth from the Belfast Film Blog and Ethan Barr from Embarr Films. As usual we discussed some of the week’s hottest movie news and trailers, previewed some local events and reviewed the latest cinematic releases

Thanks to Movie House Cinemas we reviewed the last instalment in Peter Jackson’s return to Middle-Earth with, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. We also reviewed Theodore Melfi’s dry-comedy St. Vincent, starring Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy which was released last weekend and we shared our thoughts on Paddington, which is currently topping the UK box-office.
