The BanterFlix CineCast 30 November: Saving Mr Banks Review

WELCOME back to the latest edition of the light-hearted, clip-filled show that is the BanterFlix CineCast.

As usual this week Jim, Mat and Richard have their, often off-topic discussion on all things cine. Along with our regular features, Netflix Corner, Trailer-Watch and our weekly Star Wars update, we cast our eyes over the hottest movie news and glanced at the films topping the UK box-office.

Richard previews a variety of local cinematic events happening across Northern Ireland over the next few weeks.

Thanks to the Foyle Film Festival, this week we reviewed John Lee Hancock’s Saving Mr Banks, which received its Irish première on the closing night of this year’s programme.

As usual we’ve picked out a few TV movies and discussed last week’s Netflix Corner choice, Francis Ford Coppola’s 1974 classic The Conversation.

Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by simply searching for BanterFlix. If you’re a local filmmaker or you’ve got an event you’d like to plug then contact us directly at
