To celebrate Record Store Day on Saturday 18th April we’re hosting a 35mm screening of Almost Famous at the Strand Cinema.
Written and directed by Cameron Crowe and starring Billy Crudup, Frances McDormand, Kate Hudson, and Patrick Fugit. Almost Famous tells the story of a teenage journalist writing for Rolling Stone in the early 1970s, his touring with the fictitious rock band Stillwater, and his efforts to get his first cover story published.
This screening will be introduced by TV and radio presenter Joe Lindsay, then after the movie, we’ll be recording a short episode of our podcast as we share their thoughts on the film with the audience.
