Dublin Comic Con’s Spring Edition Postponed Until Later This Year

The Coronavirus outbreak has claimed its latest victim as the Dublin Comic Con’s Spring Edition has now been postponed until the summer.

Thousands of attendees from all over Ireland were due to attend the Dublin Convention Centre this weekend (14 + 15 March). Guests such as Stephanie Beatriz from ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine  and Robocop’s Peter Weller  had been due to attend, but in a press release published today however, the organisers said they’d made the difficult decision on pulling the plug until a later date.

The statement reads: “After long discussions throughout the night and this morning, we are afraid we have to postpone DCC: Spring Edition until August. This has been a very hard decision for us to make. We are fans, first and foremost, and DCC is a big part of who we are.”

Those who have tickets to the event will be able to use their tickets for when DCC returns to Dublin in August. The organisers have said: “As default, all tickets and stall holders will be transferred to our August show, but we ask everyone for patience as we set up alternatives for those of you who wish to have a refund instead of a transfer.”
