To celebrate Record Store Day BanterFlix are putting on a 35mm screening of Allan Moyle’s Empire Records at the Strand Arts Centre on Saturday 13 April.
If you’re unfamiliar with Empire Records, the film takes place within 24 hours (well apart from the first scene) at a record store that is welcoming washed-up music heartthrob Rex Manning (Maxwell Caulfield).
Meanwhile, they’re also trying to do everything they can to stop their beloved independent music store from being sold to the mega-chain Music City.
