Ip Man

Wilson Yip’s (Killzone, Flashpoint) 2008 feature is a Hong Kong biographical martial arts film based on the life of Ip Man, a grandmaster of the martial art Wing Chun and teacher of Bruce Lee.

Set in Japanese occupied Fo Shan following Japan’s invasion of China during World War II. It recounts specifically one man’s opposition to the occupying Japanese forces.

Doors will be open from 7:30 pm and the film will start around 8 pm, after a brief introduction by a member of the BanterFlix team. This is a BYOB event so come on down grab a beanbag and enjoy the film.
