On Tuesday 11 December The Strand Arts Centre will be screening Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life and after the film, BanterFlix’s Jim McClean and Neil Sedgewick from Films & Faith will be hosting a brief discussion on the various aspects of faith that are explored throughout the feature.

Capra’s 1946 feature sees James Stewart’s George Bailey, a man who has given up on his dreams to help others, contemplate suicide on Christmas Eve only for his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers) to intervene and show George how different his hometown of Bedford Falls would be if he, if he’d never been born.
