The Shining

Come play with us Danny, forever…and ever…and ever!

The Belfast International Film Festival in partnership with the Linen Quarter Bid will deliver one of their most ambitious events to date, a screening of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining (1980) in the Penthouse of Belfast’s historic Europa Hotel

Based on Stephen King’s novel the film sees Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) accept a job as a caretaker at the Overlook Hotel, where he, along with his wife Wendy and their son Danny, must live isolated from the rest of the world over the winter.

But they aren’t prepared for the madness that lurks within.

Seating for this screening is Cabaret style with a bar open on the night, just watch out for the twins
