DESCRIPTION:Set in 1960\, The Devil’s Doorway (Aislinn Clarke\, 2018) centres on a pair of priests dispatched to a Magdelene laundry to authenticate a series of potentially miraculous occurrences. \n\n\n\nTaking the sub-genre of found footage to an entirely new level\, Aislinn Clarke’s first feature draws on the real trauma that a generation of women still carries with them to explore its haunting ramifications. After this screening\, we will be joined by director Aislinn Clarke for a Q&A. \n\n\n\nBlack Belfast Tour (Red Route)\n\n\n\nFor this special event\, we are collaborating with Alternative Ulstours‘ Andrew Johnston\, who will be leading us on a devilishly informative and shockingly entertaining walking tour of Belfast’s Linen Quarter prior to the screening.
