Movie House Cinemas are hosting free screening of The Greatest Showman for Cinema Day

Roll up, roll up, Movie House Cinemas is holding a free exclusive event for Cinema Day 2019 with a special screening of the modern classic, The Greatest Showman.

On August 26th at 11 am, the special screenings at Movie House Cityside, Glengormley, Maghera and Coleraine aim to get families to come out together and enjoy the magic of film at their local cinema.

“A trip to the cinema was always one of my favourite things as a child. It’s something that unites the generations and no matter whether you’re eight or 80, you can enjoy a great movie,”

Michael McAdam (Movie House managing director )

Cinema Day celebrates the diversity and scope of film exhibition across Northern Ireland and Movie House has been a part of the local community for more than two decades.

There will be no admission charge for these screenings – instead Movie House would like people to donate money on the day to Cash for Kids NI who are supporting the event at each of their sites. Tickets aren’t available online but you can collect tickets at the cinema box office now on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats are limited, so early ticket collection is advised.

Before the movie, each site will have fun activities that are perfect for kids! Starting from 10 am this includes cheek painting and circus-themed arts & crafts and games at Cityside, Maghera and Coleraine. Due to size restrictions, Glengormley will have cheek painting and balloon modelling by Squiggles and Giggles.

So, come one, come all and bring your family and relive the magic of The Greatest Showman at Movie House Cinemas.
