The Crow

Darker than the Bat!

Date: Saturday 25th May

Time: 8:30pm

Admission: £6

In a world without justice, one man was chosen to protect the innocent.

“People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can’t rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.”

Join BanterFlix at the Strand Arts Cinema on Saturday 25th May as we screen Alex Proyas’ cult classic The Crow to celebrate the film’s 25th Anniversary.

What’s it all About?

Infamous for the death of its leading man Brandon Lee during the making of the film, The Crow is based on James O’Barr’s 1989 comic book and deals with Eric Draven, a young musician who returns from the grave a year after he was murdered alongside his fiancé on the eve of their Halloween wedding.

Brought back to life by a mysterious crow, Eric sets out to make his killers answer for their crimes.

BanterFlix’s Joe Mc Elroy will introduce this screening.
